Seven students from Xi'an Fanyi University's School of English Studies excelled at the 26th "Star of Outlook" National Finals, held in Beijing from June 26 to 28, 2025, all clinching Second Prize (Top 30 Nationwide).

The rigorous contest, featuring Prepared Speech, Chart Interpretation, Impromptu Speech, and Argumentation, tested comprehensive language skills and critical thinking. Competing against elite university peers, key junior and senior high school teachers, and corporate specialists, the XFU team stood out with poise, logical rigor, and fluent expression. Their success stemmed from strong institutional backing: the School’s English Language Practice Workshop, with mentors like Chen Jie and Nian Xiaorui, provided tailored training, while school leaders ensured robust support—embodying the "learning through competition" ethos.

This achievement highlights the School of English Studies’ prowess in nurturing global-ready talent. The school will deepen its competition-driven approach to foster more standout performers on national stages.
